Richard G. Pestell, M.D., Ph.D., has been named director of the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Pestell was previously chair of the Division of Endocrine-Dependent Tumor Biology at Albert Einstein Cancer Center in New York. He has also been on the faculty at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago.
