Richard Klausner, M.D., director of the National Cancer Institute, will receive the 12th Donald Ware Waddell Award from the Arizona Cancer Center, Tuscon, Ariz., on Jan. 13, 2000.

The award is presented annually to a basic or clinical investigator who has made outstanding contributions to cancer research. Klausner will give two lectures at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center as part of the award.
