You may have seen the video, you may have used the CD-ROM, which was reviewed last year in these pages, now you have the book. Based as it is on multimedia presentations that were successful enough to win media prizes, the book is bright, colorful, brisk, pictorial, and informative as were its predecessors. It can be used along with the multimedia versions or on its own as a portable resource.
As many cancer books, this one and its multimedia siblings arose from the breast cancer
experience of the author's wife more than a decade ago. In his introduction, Dr. Lange tells
