Awards, Appointments, Announcements

{blacksquare} Monica Morrow, M.D., was elected fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Morrow is chairman of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

{blacksquare} V. Craig Jordan, Ph.D., D.Sc., was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and an honorary professorship from the University of Iguacu in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Jordan was honored for his work developing breast cancer therapies tamoxifen and raloxifene.

Jordan is the vice president and scientific director for the medical science division at Fox Chase Cancer Center and holds the Alfred G. Knudson Jr., M.D., Ph.D., Chair in Cancer Research.
