CORRESPONDENCE

Erratum

"Randomized Phase III Trial Of Dose-Dense Chemotherapy Supported by Whole-Blood Hematopoietic Progenitors in Better-Prognosis Small-Cell Lung Cancer" by Lorigan et al. [J Natl Cancer Inst 2004;97:666–74 (Issue 9)]. On p. 666, right column, line 6, the 95% CI should equal 0.36% to 7.04%, and on p. 670, right column, lines 4 and 5 from the bottom of the column, the text should read "neutropenic sepsis (11.6 and 15.3%, respectively; difference = 3.7%, 95% CI = 0.36% to 7.04%; P = .03)." On p. 668, left column, last line, the text should read "from 19% to 34% by a one-sided test." On p. 670, left column, lines 4 and 5, the 95% CI for 14.4 months should equal 12.7 to 16.0. The authors and the Journal regret the errors.
