Erratum: Chemotherapy-Induced Anemia in Adults: Incidence and Treatment

Erratum: "Chemotherapy-Induced Anemia in Adults: Incidence and Treatment" by Groopman and Itri [J Natl Cancer Inst 1999;91:1616-34 (Issue 19)]. On page 1618, right column, second full paragraph, line 12, "5%-23%" should be "5%-9%." In the fourth paragraph, line 17, "48%-75%" should be "48%-77%." On page 1621, first full paragraph, line 8, "16%-55%" should be "16%-35%." In the second paragraph, line 4, "13%" should be "15%," and in line 11, "31%" should be "23%." On page 1624, first full paragraph, line 5, "36%-51%" should be "55%-63%," and in the last line of the third paragraph, the incidence of grade 3 or 4 anemia should be 1%. On page 1625, in the eighth line, "62%-73%" should be "68%-84%." On page 1626, sixth line, "76%" should be "90%." In the ninth line, references (101-109) should be references (101-107). In the right column, fourth line, the incidences of grade 3 or 4 anemia in phase III trials of combination chemotherapy with paclitaxel-platinum should be 8%. Errors also occurred in Tables 2, 3, 4, and 6. The corrected tables are available in the electronic version of the Journal (http://www.jnci.oupjournals.org/). None of the errors alters the interpretation of the data or the authors' conclusions. The Journal and the authors regret the errors.
