World Conference in May

Cancer organizations from throughout the world will meet together at the 2nd World Conference for Cancer Organizations May 19-23 in Atlanta. The meeting, with representatives from more than 100 countries, will emphasize the sharing of best practices in cancer control programming and design, fund raising, human and financial resource management, and community organization.

Sponsors include the American Cancer Society, which is hosting the meeting, and the International Union Against Cancer, the Association of American Cancer Institutes, the U.S. National Cancer Institute, Canadian Cancer Society, Leukemia Society of America, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
