Clarification

Clarification: "Response: Re: Dietary Fat Reduction and Breast Cancer Outcome: Interim Efficacy Results From the Women’s Intervention Nutrition Study" by Chlebowski and Blackburn [J Natl Cancer Inst 2007;99(11):900–901]. The authors cited an abstract from the 2006 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium as a "recent update" of a trial whose results had been published in the Journal. However, the data in the published abstract were not updated relative to the data in the Journal article; it was at the oral presentation at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium that the updated data were presented, including the hazard ratio for relapse-free survival included in the Response.
