Erratum
Erratum: Arterial Thromboembolic Events and Patients with Metastatic Carcinoma Treated with Chemotherapy and Bevacizumab, F.A. Scappaticci, J.R. Skillings, S.N. Holden, H.-P. Gerber, K. Miller, F. Kabbinavar, E. Bergsland, J. Ngai, E. Holmgren, J. Wang, H. Hurwitz [ J Natl Cancer Inst 2007;99:1232-1239 (Issue 16) and its erratum J Natl Cancer Inst 2008;100:156 (Issue 2)]. The sentences in lines 3–7, left column, on page 1235 of the article, and lines 15–23 of the erratum should read as follows: The cytotoxic agents administered varied with tumor type; however, 1647 (94%) of the 1745 patients received a fluoropyrimidine-based therapy (5-fluorouracil or capecitabine). In addition, 668 (69%) of the bevacizumab-treated patients received it at a dose intensity of 2.5 mg/kg per week, and 295 (31%) received it at 5 mg/kg per week. The last complete sentence on page 1236 should read as follows: In particular, 60 (27.3%) of the 220 aspirin users had a history of arterial thromboembolic events, compared with 86 (5.6%) of the 1525 aspirin nonusers. The authors and the journal regret these errors.
