NEWS

Correction

A story in Issue 14, "Ontario Institute Offers New Model for Cancer Research," contained several errors. OICR stands for Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. The OICR is hosting the secretariat of the International Cancer Genome Consortium but is not coordinating the effort. OICR president Thomas Hudson, while at MIT, led the human gene map effort but not the "sequence map."
