Erratum

Erratum: "Projecting individualized absolute invasive breast cancer risk in African American women" by Gail et al. [J Natl Cancer Inst 2007;99(23):1782–92].The Appendix contains the following typographical errors on p. 1792, right column. In the equation in line 14 of the Appendix that defines S1, the quantities Formulaand x* should be preceded by minus signs. In line 28, the quantity exp{– T (xj – x0 j – x*)} in the definition of should be replaced by xj (Yj – Pj). These errors were not propagated into the computer programs used to produce the variance estimates in the paper and therefore do not affect any of the results presented. The authors regret the errors.
