  • Daniel G. Schultz, M.D., has been selected to lead the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Devices and Radiological Health, which is responsible for the review of all medical devices and radiation-emitting products, such as magnetic resonance imaging equipment and x-ray machines. Schultz had been acting director of the center since April.
