W.K. Alfred Yung, M.D., has been named chair of the Department of Neuro-Oncology at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Yung is a professor of neurology and a professor of cancer research at M. D. Anderson. His research focuses on combination chemotherapy, biological therapy, and growth factor expression in brain tumors.
