Awards, Appointments, Announcements

The American Society of Clinical Oncology presented several awards at its 37th annual meeting in San Francisco in May.

The David A. Karnofsky Award was given to Charles A. Coltman Jr., M.D., of the Cancer Therapy and Research Center of San Antonio. The award is given to an individual who is known for his or her clinical research and who has changed the way oncologists think about the general practice of oncology.
