Awards, Appointments, Announcements
The International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies recently presented its Myron Gordon Award to Vincent J. Hearing, Ph.D., chief of the Pigment Cell Biology Section of the National Cancer Institute's Laboratory of Cell Biology.
The award was given at the triannual meeting of the societies in Nagoya, Japan. The award
recognizes outstanding contributions to research on pigment cells. Hearing is current president of
IFPCS and soon will be editor of the Journal of Pigment
