Breast Cancer Prevention Trial Shows Major Benefit, Some Risk
Initial results of the Breast Cancer Prevention Trial were released last month when women at increased risk of breast cancer who were taking tamoxifen were found to have a 45% reduction in breast cancer incidence compared to women on a placebo.
