Trials on Physical Activity, Weight, and Breast Cancer Risk

The main risk factors for breast cancer—age, family history, and ethnic group or race—are not modifiable. A few modifiable factors, such as alcohol and dietary intake, physical activity, and body weight, have been identified as possible risk factors, but they have not been examined extensively in clinical trials.
