Variable Prescription, Recording, and Delivery of IMRT Dose

Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) is widely used to treat cancer because it provides a uniform radiation dose to the target while minimizing the dose to normal tissues. Many factors are required to plan treatments and control the radiation dose during IMRT. Variations in these factors can affect the dose and, consequently, the clinical outcome. Das et al.
