25 Years Ahead: Will Cancer Be a "Background-Noise Kind of Disease"?

ABSTRACT

For the 25th anniversary of the signing of the National Cancer Act, the Journal decided to interview cancer researchers about what the next 25 years in cancer research may bring. However, the future will always hold more unknowns than knowns, which is why, as one pundit suggested, there are always more good historians than prophets.
